Does LEGO Disney Product Need Some Pixie Dust?

LEGO have been releasing Disney product for six years now, but it has somewhat underwhelmed fan expectation. Classic characters have been missing from the line up, and some of the movies that LEGO produced product for didn’t exactly set the box office on fire. It won’t be long until next year’s plans are unveiled, so in the meantime, here is a look back at LEGO and Disney.

UK Toy Fair 2014 Report

From January 21st to January 23rd 2014 the annual UK Toy Fair took place at the Olympia in London. LEGO were there to unveil the second half of the 2014 range, including regular themes such as City, Star Wars and Minifigures along with new themes such as Mixels and Ultra Agents. To Complete or to not Complete: What is a Minifigures fan to do?

With images of the new series of LEGO Minifigures now released online, fans are excited as always to see what’s on the way. Apart from those who aren’t. For some collectors, The LEGO Movie theme is causing them to think twice about continuing to collect the Collectible Minifigures. But when The Simpsons series hits next year, everyone will have to have a hard think.

Having now looked around the web, it seems like other folk were aware and have been spreading the word about this excellent project. Mr Gold Arrives to Shake up the Minifigures

Fans of LEGO have embraced Collectible Minifigures, feverishly collecting each series and enjoying either displaying the gang together or inserting them into existing LEGO displays. Young and old alike have been putting together each series of 16. But to celebrate ten series LEGO have decided to add a 17th character, the super-rare Mr Gold – in a move that is likely to delight all of these loyal fans…?

It is nearly time for Series 10 of the Collectible Minifigures range to hit stores worldwide, and it seems like almost no time at all since this was a novelty and everyone was heading to the stores with their barcode lists. Top 10 Collectible Minifigures: Series 4-6

A year ago I picked out my favourite five Collectible Minifigures from Series 1-3. It’s been a while coming, but I have now selected what I consider to be the best of the bunch from Series 4-6. Just to be difficult though, I have decided to extend it to my ten favourites. Perhaps the quality has improved, perhaps I’m not being decisive enough, but get ready to disagree…

LEGO Team GB Minifigures Officially Competing


For the first time, it's happening - the best-selling LEGO line, Minifigures, will be getting the licensed treatment. A range of nine Team GB Minifigures will be released exclusively in the UK to celebrate the Olympic Games being held in the country. Arriving at the eleventh hour on July 1st, fans are likely to be excited or frustrated depending if they live in the UK.

Team GB to join the Collectible Minifigures


I have been wondering since the inception of the Collectible Minifigures when an exclusive, special edition or limited Collectible Minifigure would be released in-between regular series. We now have the answer, as Brickset are reporting that a special series of Olympic Team GB Minifigures will be released. There’s only one low-res image so far, and many fans are suspicious of whether it’s legit.
