TT Games are back with the latest entry in the LEGO video game series, released today in the UK. This is only the second game based on the Marvel universe, this time based on the cinematic world of the Avengers and the surrounding movies. LEGO Batman Movie Coming in 2017

News has broken that beyond the Ninjago movie in 2016, the following theatrical release based on LEGO will star Batman. This will push The LEGO Movie 2 back to 2018 or possibly even later if key members of the creative team are working on both films. With LEGO looking to capitalise on their success it seems that fans should expect regular releases from here on in.  Is LEGO Batman ready for his own adventure?

What Happened to the Last LEGO Games?

Following up on the original article last April, there is now more clarity about the fate of LEGO Games. A limited release of the sets came out over the Summer around Europe, although Story Mixer seems fated to the ‘what would have been’ LEGO section. Will there be another opportunity to get hold of the cancelled LEGO Games?

Comic Con: Who Benefits From LEGO Attending?

San Diego Comic Con has drawn to a close for another year, and LEGO have continued with the kind of presence that they have had at the event for the past few years. Having the Super Heroes theme, and it being Comic Con, makes it obvious what most of the focus LEGO have at the event is on. Things got so manic at the LEGO booth this year on the first day that security cleared everyone out of it and closed the booth down! So let’s pose a question… who the hell benefits from LEGO attending San Diego Comic Con?

A big push for LEGO at International Comic Con

It’s a busy International Comic Con event for LEGO in San Diego. With announcements each day, an exclusive LEGO set for sale and exclusive prizes there is a lot to see. A few years ago, LEGO had a much more muted Comic Con presence with a special focus on Bionicle. Are LEGO doing a great job of utilising this huge pop culture event?

Today, LEGO and DK have put together an impressive publishing schedule that sees must-buy books on the shelves every few months. How have books become a must-have addition to any respectable LEGO collection?

London Toy Fair came and went, and offered a few sneakily taken images of sets we haven’t seen yet.
