Book Review: Elite Weapons for LEGO Fanatics

LEGO fan Martin Hudepohl designs working guns and weapons using the humble brick (and a fair few Technic pins). In his book, Elite Weapons for LEGO Fanatics, he provides instructions for thirteen fully functional models. It is as unofficial, unauthorised book as the subject matter falls outside of what the LEGO Group consider appropriate for the brand. The builds included are clearly not targeted at children, but the more mature builder. So is it worth adding to your LEGO library?

AAB Report: Death Star now at the LEGOLAND Windor Resort

The Star Wars Miniland Experience has been at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort since 2012, recreating scenes from the Episodes I to VI and The Clone Wars. A New Hope is represented by a wonderful Mos Eisley setting, forming the basis for a huge Millennium Falcon model. But another iconic location from that movie was notable by its absence – and has now joined the exhibit. It’s time for the Death Star.

Each type of LEGO Dimensions expansion offers a different amount of content to add to the game. Fun Packs are the lowest price pack, adding an extra hit of variety. Each includes a minifigure and a 3 in 1 mini build. This Ninjago themed Fun Pack includes Sensei Wu and the Flying White Dragon (primary build).

LEGOLAND Windsor Death Star Will be Completed on Schedule

In the video game LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, the Emperor has trouble with his construction workers spinning on their chairs and generally not getting on with the job in hand. In the memorable scene it parodies, Darth Vader visited to motivate the troops. Thankfully, no Dark Lord of the Sith has had to head to LEGOLAND Windsor, as the new addition to Star Wars Miniland is put in place...

Blocks Magazine Issue 17 - Available Now

The March issue of Blocks magazine hits UK shelves today, having already arrived with subscribers.
