TT Games are back with the latest entry in the LEGO video game series, released today in the UK. This is only the second game based on the Marvel universe, this time based on the cinematic world of the Avengers and the surrounding movies. There’s still room for comic book goodness, but this time players will recognise locations and storylines from different Marvel movies.

More Licensed Properties for LEGO Dimensions
Over the past few days LEGO have inadvertently released information on new LEGO Dimensions through the instructions download section on their website. Doctor Who, Ninjago, Legends of Chima, Scooby Doo and Jurassic World will all be part of the new LEGO ‘toys to life’ video game experience. There’s something for everyone in the new mix of properties revealed, which should make for a very eclectic experience…

LEGO Batman Movie Coming in 2017
News has broken that beyond the Ninjago movie in 2016, the following theatrical release based on LEGO will star Batman. This will push The LEGO Movie 2 back to 2018 or possibly even later if key members of the creative team are working on both films. With LEGO looking to capitalise on their success it seems that fans should expect regular releases from here on in. Is LEGO Batman ready for his own adventure?

Comic Con: Who Benefits From LEGO Attending?
San Diego Comic Con has drawn to a close for another year, and LEGO have continued with the kind of presence that they have had at the event for the past few years. Having the Super Heroes theme, and it being Comic Con, makes it obvious what most of the focus LEGO have at the event is on. Things got so manic at the LEGO booth this year on the first day that security cleared everyone out of it and closed the booth down! So let’s pose a question… who the hell benefits from LEGO attending San Diego Comic Con?

UK Toy Fair 2013 Report
2013 is the 60th year that the UK has played host to a national Toy Fair, where those in the toy industry get together to plan for the year ahead. The event ran from the 22nd to 24th January 2013 at the Olympia Grand Hall. LEGO were present, as were some other companies showcasing licensed LEGO products. The Least Surprising Announcement of 2012
