The trailer has proudly told us that this Summer, the park is open. And what self-respecting theme park would not have a slew of merchandise to go along with it? At New York Toy Fair, the LEGO range for Jurassic World was revealed. It’s not the first time that LEGO have held the licence for this movie series, nor the first time that men and dinosaurs have co-existed in brick built form.
LEGO has had some great licensed themes that fans have enjoyed, and have always had some extremely imaginative home-grown themes. But sometimes, the lines seem a bit blurred. Sometimes, the influence of a certain film on an “original” theme is not very subtle. Not that this is a bad thing, as it’s given us some great LEGO adventures over the years! Read on to see which themes probably didn’t come from a completely blank drawing board…
The seventh and final day of January 2012 rumours reveals two new themes that may be coming next year. It also reveals what I have not had any information about. So take this, as everything else, with a sceptical view and we’ll all find out how much of it comes to be in a few months.
