Star Wars is invading LEGOLAND Windsor

LEGOLAND in California and Billund have already been invaded by the Empire's troops, and now LEGOLAND Windsor are set to get a visit from a galaxy far, far away. Ready for the opening of the all-new Star Wars Miniland, characters from the saga have invaded London in Miniland...

Even Darth Vader has to travel the capital somehow...

Staff were startled by some surprising new characters in residence at  LEGOLAND Windsor Resort’s famous Miniland on Wednesday morning (11 th  January).   The miniature LEGO landscape, which has been renovated in preparation for the new season,  was taken over by Star Wars LEGO minifigure heroes and villains including 200 storm troopers invading London over Tower Bridge, and Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi doing battle on the face of Big Ben!  The Star Wars ‘royals’ also took residence in Buckingham Palace.

The take over heralds the opening in March of a new  LEGOLAND  Star Wars ™ Miniland  at LEGOLAND ®  Windsor Resort. The new  indoor  fully themed  Star Wars  Miniland will painstakingly recreate seven of the most famous scenes from the beloved  Star Wars  films including a scene from the animated series:  Star Wars: The Clone Wars , using around 1.5 million LEGO® bricks.

Big Ben looks as treacherous as Mustafar as Darth Vader and Obi-Wan do battle...

There will be more to share soon as LEGOLAND Windsor prepares to launch the first LEGOLAND Hotel in the UK along with the new Star Wars Miniland, so stay tuned to All About Bricks.

Beware the regimented marching of the Empire!
